A deck of gorgeous calligraphy designs based on the Major Arcana. Each letter corresponds to the name of the card and shares characteristics of the meanings of that Major Arcana. The matching hand-crafted box is equally beautiful. A Tarot card from the set adorns the front (mounted on thick cardstock so it has a 3D effect), as well as Osvaldo's signature hot-wax seal. Each set has a signed & numbered signature card in lovely handwritten calligraphy on specialty paper. The deck is wonderfully illustrated and the artwork is mounted on thick cardstock with a dark brown paper wrapping around to the front of the cards and folded down at each corner, giving it a classy, antique look. This very limited edition, hand-crafted collectable comes in two sizes (details below). A personal favorite, it is a rare and fabulous treasure to behold! Created by Osvaldo Menegazzi, it became available in early 2008.

Additionally a third, more reasonably priced set of Tarocchi Metaforici is available. This version comes with a large sized deck of the cards in a decorated cardboard box and is also a numbered, limited edition set (of 250, priced €60.)

2) Small Size Box: 6" tall x 3 inches wide, 15.25 cm x 7.62 cm.
Cards: around 3 1/2" tall x 2 1/4'' wide - 8.9 cm x 5.75 cm

3) Large Deck in Decorated Cardboard Box: 7" L x 4.5 inches W, 17.78 cm x 11.43 cm. Cards: 5 1/2" long x 4'' wide - 14 cm x 10.16 cm

Handmade boxes often have a wooden door knob for the drawer and a card or more from the deck mounted on front.
Sides of box may include hot wax seal and 'Il Meneghello' logo as final touches.
