Pholarchos Tarot, by Carmen Sorrenti

Review by Connie Schmidt

I have received a new Tarot deck from my dear friend, artist, and publisher Arnell Ando, the Pholarchos Tarot deck by Carmen Sorrenti. This deck is rich in color, imagery, and mythology. Description in words falls hallow. It must be viewed and taken in. This is a 78 Card Deck with the names of the customary suits changed to Sparks, Spirals, Wings, and Coral. The booklet that comes with the deck explains the artist's view of how Tarot works through mythology, which I found compelling. I've been told Carmen will be coming out with a larger book explaining her deck more completely soon. I know I cannot wait to have it.

I think this deck may be of profound importance for the beginner and the master Tarot Reader alike.
